Ashely Nicolette Frangipane -- better known as Halsey -- is a huge face of today's music. She has been steadily making her mark on top 100s everywhere from Billboard to Apple and more. So if you don't even know who she is, you've been under a rock. But while I say that, the girl has a fair share of hate as she does love. But in my opinion, here are 18 reasons we truly don't deserve Halsey.

1. She is extremely open about herself

It's hard to find celebrities that are EXTREMELY open and comfortable with every bit of themselves as she is.

2. She's a huge advocate for Mental Health Awareness

3. Her mic flips

She does them at every show... every performance she gives and kills it every time.

4. She is beautiful with literally any hair color or style

You guys... I can't even express... like... look at her. It doesn't matter what color or style... she rocks EVERYTHING.

5. She's biracial.. & proud of it

Although she is constantly given crap for not looking biracial... she is very open about it and proud of it.

6. With that being said, She also acknowledges her privilege as white passing

But at the same time, she wants people to understand and accept her for how she accepts herself.

7. Her Lyrics

Some may find her lyrics to be confusing or out of the blue... but when you really listen to them, the meanings go deeper and really hit home for many people

8. She is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community with her music

Being bisexual herself, she doesn't limit her music to just being about a man and woman. Making songs for all choices of love, she gives relatable content and is proud of it.

9. Her Voice

It's not just amazing via studio recorded, the talent is flawless and is nothing less than that even performing live.

10. The way she puts her whole heart and self out there

In so many of her songs she bleeds right through onto the track. She invites people to take a listen into her personal self & it's extremely relatable. Especially with her newest track "Without Me."

11. She has endometriosis &  stands in front of so many people and talks about struggles she's faced

She suffered a miscarriage right before a concert and even had to choose whether to go out and perform or not while experiencing what she was. Which in the end, she chose to go out and perform. Because of the love for her fans.

12. She isn't afraid to call out people for the way they treat anything that relates to the LGBTQ+ community

As shown in this clip from an interview, she talks about how her music video for 'Ghost' was looked at as provocative when it was the same kind of video as a lead male one released but instead had her making out with a girl and it was called pornographic. She released the video on purpose to prove a point.

13. Her Love for her fans is Priceless

During every meet and greet she has, she shows the most personality put in I've ever seen in meet & greets. The love and appreciation she has for her fans radiates so much.

14. She encourages the pride of being a woman

15. & she sure isn't afraid to stand up for women or anything she believes in

16. She's a HUGE Panic! @ the Disco fan

Which makes her even more relatable than ever! I mean come on y'all.. who doesn't love themselves some Brendon Urie and Panic at the Disco?!

17. She is an absolute joy to watch... even on social media

& although there are so many more reasons, I'll end it with #18... She's 10000% adorable you guys.

I mean come on guys... just look at that face. Goodness.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
