8 Ways To Help Make The World A Better Place

Every night I pray for the world to heal, improve, and look like love. I truly believe that if we each did a few simple, nice things a bit more, even just once a day, we could make the world so much better. Here are eight ways to make the world a more positive place, change it, and make yourself a happier human!

1. Smile at strangers.

Personally, I love when strangers offer a warm and genuine smile. It just makes you feel good,

2. Hold the door for those behind you.

This such a simple way to make someone else's day a little bit better and easier.

3. If you like something about someone, tell them.

Shirt, hair, personality, mind, anything! Just a simple way to be nice and spread some joy!

4. Dance in the store when your favorite song comes on.

Catch me dancing in Target all the time, makes the journey that much better. I once danced in the grocery store to "Brave" by Sara Bareilles and ever since I've just known I'm the main character.

5. Find something good in each day.

Each night, I reflect on my day and find something that made me happy. It will make you feel better which will lead you to exert positive energy in the world.

6. Volunteer.

There are countless opportunities to volunteer, which is a great way to help others and give back.

7. Be polite.

This one is so simple, just being nice to everyone and using your manners can go such a long way and be an extremely refreshing pace for some.

8. Engage in conversations regarding passions.

Talk about your passions and ask others about theirs! I have heard so many people say how much they love hearing people talk about things they are passionate about.
