Because what else is there to do?

1. Catch Up On Sleep

After finals, it is easy to say that our sleep schedule is not quite what it should be. The beauty of getting to sleep in, is very much needed to correct this.

2. Make Plans And Actually Follow Through

"We should hang out sometime!" and "Let's do something over break" are so commonly used and not actually done. To avoid the boredom, be the one to make plans with friends or anyone that you even remotely want to see. It will be refreshing to be able to mix lazy days with ones with plans.

3. Go Out In The Snow

The desire to have snowball fights and make snow angels is arguably something we haven't out grown yet. Try not to coop up in room so much that you miss the wonder of snow.

4. Quality Family Time

You know they have missed you, and besides, family is what the holiday season is for.

5. Bath Time

Shower shoes get old very fast. Treat yourself to at least a few relaxing bubble baths or spa treatments that are sure to make you feel better.

6. Ice Skating

Whether you fall all the time (like me) or not, this is a winter must. And can be a fun filled day with friends, family or maybe that special someone.

7. Make Extra Hot Chocolate

Chocolate water with marshmallows? I'll pass. Try making your hot chocolate with the help of various toppings and flavors to bring the most holiday cheer. I recommend toppings such as: flavored coffee creamer, whipped cream/marshmallows and crushed up candy or cookies.

8. Shopping

Even if you're not a fan of Christmas shopping, the Post-Christmas sales are too difficult to pass up.

9. Netflix Night

Bring out the popcorn and that cozy winter feeling with some nights of binge watching movies/Netflix.

10. Sledding/Skiing/Snow Tubing

Go to your local park hill or a ski lodge and take in the adrenaline that they offer.

11. Grab Someone And Have A Winter Photoshoot

Enough said.

12. Bump Up Your Resume

If you're looking for a way to stay productive, try editing you LinkedIn bio, looking for internships, or simply bumping up your resume over the break.

13. Go Christmas Light Hunting

Pack up the car for a night of driving around to find the best lights in the neighborhood or city. This is sure to make your heart glow just like the lights.

14. Bake Holiday Treats

Not only delicious, but also great for bonding with loved ones.

15. Try Your Hand At Some Video Games

We couldn't bring every device to school, take advantage or consoles or anything else that you can't bring to school with you.

16. Make Something From Pinterest

We all have craft ideas that we have always wanted to try. Just go for it! It could even end up as a cute decoration for the dorm. Either way, you'll still end up with the satisfaction of making it, or trying to.

17. Try Out A New Hobby

Perhaps out of the mountain of boredom, you could find something you will always love.

18. Organize

Whether it's your desktop, room, or jewelry box, cleaning might keep you feeling busy and productive.

19. Spend Much Needed Pet Time

It isn't that easy to sneak your pet to college, so make sure to love on them these few weeks.

20. Enjoy A Fire With Some Smores

Curling up next to the furnace with microwaved smores sounds like a great idea.

21. Sketch Or Write

Fill up that blank journal with creativity, coloring also works.

22. Try A Winter Hike

Your own Winter Wonderland. Even if you have gone on the same twenty times, a different season will give you a different experience.

23. Indoor Swimming

Just make sure to throughly dry off before you freeze on your way to the car.

24. Go See A Play/Musical

Year round entertainment.

25. Volunteer

Thus keeping you busy, helping others, and making your resume look even better.

26. Make Christmas/I'm Thankful For You Cards For Friends/Family

It's unlikely that you would be able to buy all of your new friends as well as your old friends and family Christmas presents. If you have too much time on your hands, this is definitely something to keep in mind.

27. Plan Out New Year's Resolutions

In order to make these into a reality, you are going to have to put some work in. Start by setting reminders or adding to your daily routine to ensure success.

28. Start A Vlog

Youtube videos are perfect for someone looking for something to do with their time.

29. Host A Christmas Party

Planning will give you something to do and a chance to see your loved ones.

30. Cut Out Paper Snowflakes

A fun activity with a cute result.

31. Hot Tub or Jacuzzi Time

I know it's on my bucket list to hit up one of these during the winter season.

32. Snow/Pillow Forts

Winter time is fort time. Inside or outside, don't forget to get cozy.

33. Reread Christmas Stories And Other Childhood Books

Hopefully doing so will get you into the holiday spirit.

34. Have A Happy Holiday
