Part 2 - The Solution

The Voting Tree: Part 2

Part 2 of the short doc The Voting Tree, in which we, the filmmakers from G-Team Frames, try to find out why Millennials don't use their true voting power and what can be done to change that mentality.

Where Part 1 presents the problem of the lack of millennial voting, Part 2 shows just how easy it can be to solve it. Vote Locally: don't just vote for the president and be done with it, (or vote for your party down the ballot), vote at every chance you get, vote for you local government, do the research and figure out which candidates speak to you. Use social media correctly: use the "5th Branch of Government," social media, to promote your agenda in a smart and respectful way. Get local campaigns the coverage they deserve!

If you are not happy with your choices in the election there are things you can do! Find that up-and-coming politican running for a lower office and use social media to spread their views to others who might not be normally exposed. Those candidates could be running for much higher positions in the future.
