A plant-based diet begins to start feeling like this whole new lifestyle that you've unknowingly embarked on. You can still embark on some other unknown journeys of your own through travel and maintain your vegan diet. There are many fast food restaurants that make it easy for you to order healthy food. I've picked some of the main fast food chains that are the most prevalent when traveling to other countries. Conveniently so, our vegan community happens to be worldwide. So don't ever shy away from traveling or taking on any new adventures around your town! Enjoy your life, spread love.

Burger King

Clean Technica

Impossible Whopper is Burger King's new vegan burger that is launching August 8th throughout the United States. Until then, you could always get the veggie burger without the veggie patty. And let's not forget about the french fries. Ever.

Chipotle

Chipotle

As long as you pick the black beans over the other kind (usually cooked with animal product), you're perfectly fine! Steer clear from the cheese and have fun picking out the rest.

Panera Bread

FEE

They have coffee and smoothies with an almond milk replacement. You can choose from their vegan-friendly soups and salads. They also have the Mediterranean sandwich that you can request without feta cheese.

Starbucks

Starbucks

Their mocha syrup is vegan! Starbucks has been launching plant-based options all over the world to gather their latest intel. Environmental consciousness has been their mission and they are trying to perfect it as best as possible. There are vegan sandwiches and meals you can purchase along with your coffee as they do provide soy, coconut, and almond milk. For power, they released plant-based protein coffee shakes.

Subway

Subway

Make sure to either pick the Italian bread or the whole wheat bread. They even have avocado spread! I'm sure you can happily choose the rest.

Jamba Juice

Food Business News

There is an entire menu for plant-based options, you won't be able to choose. You can either get a smoothie or a smoothie bowl. They also have certain boosts and protein additives.

Dunkin' Donuts

Today

Can't go wrong with their hashbrowns! And if you like coffee, you can get it with almond milk, just make sure you don't pick a syrup with dairy.

This is a lifestyle change you don't have to sacrifice much for. You can still indulge in your favorite fast food restaurants. I'm pretty sure you will learn your own vegan menu tricks, so be sure to share them!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
