Writing is how I gather my thoughts and figure out who I am and what I believe. I value vulnerability and honesty above all in my writing, but humor commonly creeps up there too. I share and dissect my own experiences so that others can see that they aren't alone in their struggles. I believe that vulnerability is the closest synonym to empathy (thanks, Brene Brown) and strive to be as real as possible in my work.
