Lorena Illarionova

Hello there! My name is Lorena and I am from the little Eastern European country of Latvia. It's very small, about 70% forest, and before you ask, I have seen a bear in person. I came to NYC at the cringing age of 12 and believe that I have become quite the full fledged New Yorker. I lived on Brighton Beach, Sheepshead Bay and currently reside in Williamsburg with my Saluki named Solomon. Attending Hunter College the major I'm pursuing is Psychology, but for the future I would like to get into medical school to become a psychiatrist, or plastic surgeon. Those two might seem a bit different, but I would like to make people feel good on the inside and outside. Which is what most of my writing is about; self-empowerment and self-love.
