I am an avid reader and writer, and I want to engage more with my university campus through writing for the Odyssey. One of the best ways that I have been able to express myself is through writing, whether it be comical or serious, fictional or expository. I have been keeping a journal since the 6th grade, enjoy reading poetry, novels, and everything in between, and have been told by my friends that the Odyssey is the ideal platform upon which I have the opportunity to share my opinions and vocalize those of my peers here at W&L. Writing for the Odyssey gives me an incredible, new, and, perhaps at times, challenging opportunity to engage in conveying what it means to be a student in college here and elsewhere.
