For all of you who have finally gotten used to the idea that your acceptance letter to Hogwarts got lost in the mail, this may be the relief you were always searching for.
There is a rumor circulating around the muggle world that Universal Studios in Orlando may be hosting an authentic Yule Ball at the Harry Potter World Theme Park.
Fans first caught sight of the Yule Ball in the fourth "Harry Potter" movie, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." It was held because of the beginning of the Tri-Wizard Tournament, which required all participants in the tournament to attend.
While this idea is still in the working, the mere possibility of a Yule Ball occurring is enough to make Harry Potter fans break out their dress robes and wands.
If the Yule Ball were to actually happen, guests would wear dress robes, have dinner and dance to the themed music of the event, while enjoying the festive and magical decor of the castle.
Guests could also enjoy the "Harry Potter" sights, like the village of Hogsmead, Olivander's Wand Shop, the Weasley's Joke Shop, and the Leaky Cauldron.
This event would also probably sell out within minutes of opening, so it is pretty certain that excessive patience and planning would be in order.
Right now, the event is in the survey process, where Universal Studios sends out surveys to guests in order to get their insight on the possible success of new projects, such as the Yule Ball. But, even if guests love the idea, that does not mean it will ever actually happen (sigh).
So, it looks as if fans have enough time to watch all the "Harry Potter" movies again in preparation for the possibility of the Yule Ball actually happening.
In the meantime, iron your dress robes, find a partner, and wait patiently.
