Over this Christmas break, I decided to drive 12 hours to Wisconsin from Mississippi. We wanted to go skiing, so we just decided to take a road trip. We stopped in St. Louis to take pictures with the arch then proceeded on to Wisconsin.

The drive was long. Not as long as you would think, but we were all tired by the end of it. We had all started getting a little grouchy. By the time we got there, we just wanted to order pizza and go to bed. We decided to play a card game too because why not? We did not have anything pressing for our time.

The first day we chose to explore the town we had decided to vacation to. We spent way more money on cheese than one probably should and got ready to cook dinner for ourselves. We decided to grill and have a family dinner then went to the hot tub.

The second day we decided to go snow tubing, and there is a good chance that one or more people will fly into the snow bank separating the tubing lanes. The skiing day was the most eventful. Four kids from Mississippi learning to ski should be a reality show. Two of us were really good at it and loved it. The other two of us were not so good at it. There was a young boy that ended up helping me maneuver the bunny slope because I couldn't do it myself.

A road trip with your friends will show you a little more of everyones personalities and you are most likely gonna learn something new about them no matter how much you already know. Someone will become the "mom" of the group, and everyone will have a great time. If you ever have the chance to travel with your friends, I 100% think you should.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
