Taylor Swift has gotten a lot of attention these past few weeks - from her June break up with Calvin Harris to her whirlwind travel romance with Tom Hiddleston, to her most recent controversy with Kanye West in which she appears to have given Kanye permission to write offensive lyrics in his song "Famous." Taylor Swift has been there for all of us through her sing-along/scream-along musical masterpieces, so I thought who better to depict my emotions surrounding my daily encounters with service dog, Hardy, and the curious public than T-swizzle herself?
1. When someone asks me if Hardy is a real dog
Well as hard as it is to believe that I don't carry a giant lizard in a dog costume, she really is just a dog.
2. When Hardy licks a stranger's leg.
3. When someone tells me their black, three-pound pug looks just like Hardy
Oh OK, then. Interesting.
4. When someone tries to call my dog to them, but I'm holding her leash
Like, hello? I'm right here.
5. When someone reads the "Do Not Pet Me, I'm Working" sign on Hardy's vest, but pets her anyway.
6. When people run away when Hardy and I walk in their direction
Some things never change.
7. When it rains and Hardy takes 10 minutes to find a spot to go to the bathroom
Drenched in water and mud. It's fine, everything's fine.
8. When people say they wish they could pet Hardy
9. When people say they wish they could bring their dog to school, too
It looks like it's going great, but most of the time it ends with me feeling like I've fallen on my flat on my face.
10. When people think I'm blind and get in my personal space
I can see how close you are. I feel how close you are. This is now awkward for both of us.
11. When I've answered the same question for the 30th time in a row
Taylor may be going through a bit of a rough patch with the news media, but no one can deny her success; she was just dubbed one of the wealthiest celebrities on the planet, and we all know that is not to Kanye's credit. Her sometimes rather sarcastic tweets, but overall embracing personality, is something I can relate to, and I think if she lived in the 'Sip, we'd be close buds. Who wouldn't want to be a part of her #squadgoals? Then again, who wouldn't want to be a part of Hardy's squad? After all, she made herself famous, I'm really just her manager. And those days when I'm sure I'm gonna lose it between Hardy's stubborn 13-year-old-like attitude and the public's stalking eye, I'll do like Taylor and just shake it off.
