I first met T-Roub in August of 2016, but it wasn't until that December that I got to see his first set. It was my birthday, to be exact, and I was in the middle of my first of zero bloody marys. T-Roub had just taken the stage as he stepped out to his rig, I swore the whole bar followed him. I watched from the balcony of Be Here Now as a crowd clustered around the DJ who resembled a Devil. Much to my amazement, he held this crowd his whole set of about 45 minutes.

From house parties to DIY bars, T-Roub made a name for himself with trap and dubstep as a member of the Muncie EDMC. But it's not just DJing that T-Roub participates in, this hype master is also a producer.
In February, I had the opportunity to write about T-Roub's single, "Dangerous." A track I listened to multiple times before deciding that there was only one way to describe such a track. "'Dangerous' has me feeling like I'm sunbathing next to a vat of acid."
His first EP, "The Wild," released in May of 2016, which features well-received tracks. The aggressive EP features both dubstep and trap but mixes with progressive themes, including the sounds of howling wolves.
Throughout his career T-Roub has played many events including the controversial ChirpFest, Muncie Gras, Illuminate: Sensory Arts Festival, and many more. While T-Roub can most likely be found playing Be Here Now, he has also played venues including the glowroom of Indy's Skybar.
T-Roub's peers describe him as, "A genuine dude, that always loves to have fun. He's the most hype person I have met," explains fellow producer, Ejion.
On July 14, he played his last Midwest show (for now) titled "Electric Summer Volume 2." Fellow DJs across Indiana came together to send him off Viking style. While there was no tearing up, there was lots of dancing and plenty of drops.
So where is he headed next? To Fullerton, California where he will continue to produce music and DJ.T-Roub continues to experiment and work on his next EP hopefully on it's way soon. T-Roub will also be contributing to the compilation album known as "Wrong Number," to be released this October. Until then, be on the lookout for his California debut!
And while we know the West coast will love him and we wish him all the best, those of us stuck in the Midwest will miss him like a brother. Now, get your calenders out because we are counting down his return.
