5 Ways That You, Even As A College Student, Can Travel The World Without Breaking The Bank

As a college student, we tend to struggle when it comes to traveling on a cheap budget. It is hard to find exotic flight tickets for low prices or even try to find the right people to travel with you. But here are some ways that you can travel as a broke college student:

1. Find cheaper destination using Google Flights

One thing to note is that if you’re going to search up flights, always go incognito. This is super important, a lot of websites have cookies, which would potentially increase your flight ticket every time you do a search.

2. Use Airbnb or hostels instead of hotels

It is very rare to find a cheap and nice hotel, the best option for students is usually staying at an Airbnb or at hostels. Hostels are great if you want to socialize with other travelers in the area while Airbnbs are nicer for individual stays and bedrooms. It is possible to find really cheap Airbnb stays since some host offer discounts for longer stays. Hotels are always more expensive with their fees which is why you should stay away from them when traveling on a low budget.

3. Travel with multiple people

Traveling with multiple people tends to be cheaper when it comes to sharing the expenses of the trip such as transportation by car or stay in general. Sharing the cost allows you to be able to budget better and do more.

4. Use different means of transportation

Often times, people overlook transportation such as buses and cars. It is way cheaper if everyone splits the gas instead of taking a flight to your destination. Sometimes buses are even cheaper than flights but they require longer travel time.

5. Be flexible with time

Being flexible with time allows you to get cheaper deals on transportation to your destination. Overnight buses tend to be cheaper because lots of people don’t like to travel in the night. Red eyes flights are also cheaper if you’re looking into flights. Being flexible with time lets you play around with your prices for your transportation which could potentially save you a good amount of your budget.6. Find cheap eats instead of the usual tourist food places.

Don’t fall for tourist traps especially when it comes to food. They are usually overhyped and overpriced to attract tourists. You can always find local cheap eats that would satisfy your Instagram feed as well as your stomach. Why spend money on expensive food when you can use that money to do other activities?

Traveling is something that all college students want to do when they are too tired of studying. Staying in the same place for a long period of time can drive anyone crazy and cause them to get tired of where they are. There are some ways to travel and get out for some fresh breath of air while still living on that broke college student budget.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
