Top 5 EDM Producer's I Want to Meet

As a producer, DJ, and fan of Electronic Dance music (EDM), I have my favorite artists. I listen to a lot of different genres that make up EDM, but my favorites are progressive house, future bass, and trap. Ever since I was introduced to EDM music, I have been hooked. These are the Top 5 EDM producers that I want to meet.

5) Martin Garrix

Being the number 1 DJ this year, according to DJ Mag, this to me is a no brainer. He is ajn EDM prodigy. One of Garrix's first famous tracks, Animals, went platinum when he was only seventeen years of age. One reason why I would want to meet Garrix is to get to know his knowledge of many different genres in EDM. When he rose to fame, he made Big Room House music. Now, Garrix is exploring many different genres such as, future house, progressive house and even still some Big Room House.

4) Porter Robinson

Porter Robinson is number 4 on my list because he doesn't fit a specific genre. His attitude towards EDM culture is that he doesn't care what people think. He doesn't fit in with the culture but he doesn't care, he produces what he likes and doesn't worry about what the media has to say about him. He's not a mainstream artist, but his fans are loyal and he is continuously popular. With his deep, emotional EDM, he speaks to listeners in a different way than most artists. His uniqueness makes him popular. I would really want to meet Porter Robinson because honestly he seems like a cool guy. There are so many mainstream artists out there that have a snobby attitude but Porter seems like he would be really chill. I would also like to learn his style of music because although it's deep, it still has a EDM vibe that people can't resist.

3) San Holo

Me and one of my best friends recently attended a Hardwell concert. Before Hardwell played, San Holo played his set. While he was playing, both me and my best friend, got a high-five from him. Ever since that night I have been obsessed with San Holo. I enjoyed San Holo much more than I enjoyed Hardwell. As common throughout this whole article, I love how unique his music is. The only genre that I can say that matches his style would be, future trap. I haven't met a San Holo song that I didn't like.

2) Eden

Eden is a up and coming producer. The reason I want to meet Eden is very similar to Porter, he has such a unique style of music. A reason why I respect Eden in a different way than all of these other producers is, he does all of the vocals on his tracks. Other producers, such as Skrillex, may sing in a few of his tracks, while Eden sings in all of his tracks. As a choir member since I was in sixth grade, I have high respect for Eden for singing in all of his tracks. I think that by singing and producing his tracks, it allows Eden to deliver the song exactly how he wants.

1) Skrillex

Sonny Moore is the number 1 EDM producer that I want to meet. He skateboards, has a great sense of humor and makes a very unique style of EDM music. He does not really fit a specific genre of EDM music. With his experience and knowledge. I would love to sit and make music with Skrillex. He has worked with some of the best musicians in the world, such as, Justin Bieber, the Doors and Ellie Goulding. Skrillex, way back in 2012, was the first EDM artist that I really got into. The best friend, that I talked about during the San Holo section, actually introduced me to Skrillex. Ever since then, I have been a follower of Skrillex. His style of mixing is something that I admire about him. I actually, when I DJ, have a very similar style to how he mixes music.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
