When you are cruising down the shore, you need to make sure your music is popping. If you are ever in a situation where your front seat DJ is not playing some good jams, refer them to this list. With these 25 songs, your hour long drive to the shore won't seem so bad!

1. Bohemian Rhapsody

This song by Queen is quite possibly the best song ever written. If you can't sing this song at the top of your lungs, then don't sing in my car.

2. Wannabe

Why not sing along with the Spice Girls and pretend you are singing to a person who wants to be your lover? Seriously, the Spice Girls are life.

3. Ignition (Remix)

Sing along with R. Kelly and give a little toot toot and a beep beep to anyone in your way. Hurry up and get where you're going so you can sip on some coke and rum.

4. Mr. Bright Side

The Killers' song about just a kiss is a great song to sing to with the windows down! Whether you're running away because something that started with a kiss went wrong or just going on a cruise, take control and play this song.

5. Bye Bye Bye

It ain't no lie baby, either sing this or get out! Seriously, is it even a road trip without 'NSYNC? I want to see you out the door if you hate this song.

6. Opps!... I Did It Again

Opps, did I play this song again? This is a necessity for any time I get in a car because losing all my senses is just so typically me. I played with the aux and got lost in the game because I'm dreaming away about Britney Spears.

7. Paper Planes

Don't go MIA on your road trip, listen to this song by M.I.A. Might not be the best song to listen to in a bad neighborhood with the gun shots, but how can you help jamming to this?

8. Fight Song

This song by Rachel Platten is a great song to get you pumped up. Take back your life, prove you're all right, be strong, and play your fight song!

9. Day & Night

OCOOP is a song that makes you not care if its day or night. Have fun by singing this song in the car with your friends on your next road trip!

10. Billionaire

Long road trips are a great time to think. Why not play this song and pretend you're a billionaire on the cover of Forbes magazine next to Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars who sing this song? Sing your heart out to this song and imagine your new life.

11. H.O.L.Y.

The sun might leave during your drive so when you have to sit in the darkness, sing this Florida Georgia line song! H.O.L.Y. is a great song to sing at the top of your lungs and pretending someone you are high on loving is there with you.

12. It Wasn't Me

Chances are you make up the words to this Shaggy song with your co-pilot! This song can be helpful if you don't want to get caught in the shower or on the couch red handed, remember who you give an extra key to!

13. A Thousand Miles

Vanessa Carlton's song is a classic! "I need you and I miss you" is what I say to this song when it hasn't been played on my road trip. Bang on your steering wheel like the scene from White Chicks, and sing about falling into the sky!

14. Promiscuous

Chivalry might be dead, but playing this song is a great way to liven up your car on a long trip. If morale is low in the car just say, "it's okay it's alright I got something that you might like" then put on this Nelly Furtado song.

15. Dancing Queen

ABBA quite possibly released one of the best songs of all the time. Have the time of your life in the car with your bestie when you are digging the dancing queen. Play the right music and get in the swing by playing this song when you get the chance because you are the dancing queen young and sweet!

16. Ain't No Mountain High Enough

No matter where you are, no matter how far, this song by Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell is a must in the car! When I'm in control of the aux, you can always count on me, darling, to play this great song.

17. I'mGonna Be (500 miles)

Even if you are not walking 500 miles, this a great song to get pumped up to. The Proclaimers sure did a great job releasing this song because everyone in the car is sure to sing along and have a great time!

18. One Dance

If you do not play Drake, do not go on a road trip with me. Of course I won't have a Hennessy in my hand when I am driving, but a higher power takes ahold of me when Drake comes on. I don't want to spend time fighting with people in my car so I need a one dance and then I will be happy.

19. Pocketful of Sunshine

No matter how many things I have packed for a road trip, I will always have a pocketful of sunshine. Sticks and stones are never going to break me so I do not care if people in my car do not like this Natasha Bedingfield song because this is a must on any road trip.

20. Crazy Rap

Does anyone remember actually learning the words to this song? Such a bad song but it is so good to jam out to Afroman in the car. Do not become one of the girls in this song ladies, unless you're Maria because she was a good girl.

21. Beverly Hills

Driving on the highway is so boring and isn't all that great. Imagine you are Weezer and are driving to Beverly Hills because that's where you want to be. Living a life like a King with your picture by the pool is a great thing to think about when you are driving through the middle of no where.

23. Sweet Caroline

Niel Diamond is a great song to make everyone happy when you have been in the car so long you forget where it began. Let your bonds grow strong with your friends when your hands are reaching out the window with this song blasting out of the speakers.

24. Cruise (feat. Nelly) [Remix]

FGL had to make the list twice because how can you cruise down the shore in a brand new Chevy with a lift kit without listening to this song? This song makes you want to roll your windows down with your friends and blow all the stop signs because you have a great time when this song comes on.

25. Despacito (feat. Justin Bieber) [Remix]

Of course you only know the Justin Bieber parts of this song and say taco or Doritos for the other parts. No matter what part of the song is on, it is sure to make everyone in the car want to have a dance party. Of course, you do not want to go "slowly" when this jam comes on.

No matter what kind of people you have in your car with you, these are definitely some jams to have everyone singing. If you are going down the shore or going across the state to visit your college friends, these 25 songs will make the drive less dreadful. Take some stress off of the designated DJ passenger and just make a playlist with these songs on it and you will be fine. Happy Jamming!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
