WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS.

1. The Duffer Brothers (the show creators) reference many different writers in the show including Stephen King, Steven Spielberg and John Carpenter, as they were sources of inspiration.

2. In fact, Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven was a recommendation of King himself after her performance in Intruders.

3. The main cast of children and the writers all watched classic films such as The Goonies, ET, Stand By Me and Poltergeist for acting and writing inspiration. Millie Brown was even instructed to model Eleven after ET.

4. The kids in the main cast reportedly started a group chat before filming to start bonding and build deeper friendships.

5. The group chat paid off, the strong acting skills of the young kids is shown off by the inseparable bond the group shares on their adventures as Mike, Lucas and Dustin.

6. The shows creators made a 30 page guide on the Upside Down world and the monsters that inhabit it. They're releasing more information from the guide as the series continues.

7. Countless hours of CG, animatronics and prosthetics on an actor were used to create the final image of the monster.

8. Eleven's Eggo waffle obsession is adorable and will honestly revamp your love for them. The fact that she robs a convenience store for them while still being bad ass is equally adorable.

9. The monster, a Demogorgon, is based on the monster of the popular role playing game Dungeons and Dragons which is reappearing in pop culture again.

10. Barb is a hero and great friend for staying to make sure Nancy was okay, which ultimately ended in her death by Demogorgon.

11. Winona Ryder makes a new comeback in the show as the mother of Will, the young boy who is the first in the series to get taken to the Upside Down as she tracks him down to rescue him.

12. The ending to season one leaves you begging for more, and all that time spent on Jim Hopper's backstory leaves many questions yet to be answered, especially about his daughter.

13. The series ends with a possible foreshadowing for season two, who knows what kind of monsters our curiosity doors will open up to?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
