My Top 13 Favorite Christmas Movies

Christmas is such a magical time for people! As I have gotten older, the Christmas spirit has definitely dwindled down, but there is nothing like a good Christmas movie to get in the mood for the Holidays! Here is a list of some of my favorite Christmas movies to watch during this season!

1. Home Alone

Home Alone is probably one of my absolute favorite movies of all time. I have seen it a million and a one times, but it never seems to get old.

2. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

The original Home Alone will always hold a special place in my heart, but the second one is pretty great too! After the second one, the series just begins to go downhill.

3. The Polar Express

Polar Express is one of those movies that makes me all nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood. I watch this movie every Christmas Eve because it never fails to put me in the Christmas mood!

4. A Christmas Story

This is such a classic. If you have never seen A Christmas Story, where have you been all of your life? It is a tradition in my family to watch this movie ALL DAY on Christmas. Why not when it is playing 24/7 from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day on TBS!

5. Elf

Elf is always a go-to movie to watch when you want a good laugh! This is another one that never really gets old.

6. The Heart of Christmas

Want a real tear-jerker? Watch this movie. I guarantee you'll cry at least once. It's just SO good!

7. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

The whole National Lampoon's series is pretty funny, but this movie is by far my favorite. It is another classic that I always watch when I need a good laugh.

8. The Santa Clause

This is another one that I watch every year and never get tired of!

9. Christmas with the Kranks

Many people aren't a big fan of this movie, but I love it!

10. A Charlie Brown Christmas

Talk about classic! This is always a must watch every year. The Peanuts holiday movies are always a favorite.

11. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

"Well, in Whoville they say - that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day".

12. A Christmas Carol

Everyone knows Scrooge!

13. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

This is the movie that I am pretty sure everyone has seen at least once in their lifetime. If not, watch it this year! You can't get more of a classic Christmas movie than this one.
