Top 10 Shows On Netflix

1. "The Walking Dead."

Perhaps the number one show in the nation, right now; why not jump aboard the train if you haven’t yet. “In the wake of a zombie apocalypse, survivors hold on to the hope of humanity by banding together to wage a fight for their own survival” (Netflix). Five seasons of gore and more gore. Count me in!

2. "Dexter."

A vigilante serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood splatter analyst? If that doesn’t catch your interest, I can’t help you. He is a serial killer of serial killers! Is he a good person doing bad things or a bad person doing good things?

3. "Orange is the New Black."

When a sweet blonde’s past crimes catch up to her, she must serve some time in an all women prison where she runs into a past lover who is serving time for the same crime. She struggles through her feelings between her and her fiancé at home and learns ways to survive in a prison.

4. "Criminal Minds."

Quantico’s FBI team of profilers solve cases and crimes with a lot of suspense and drama. Morgan is hot and you want him to call you baby-girl. Reed is quite possibly the smartest person you have heard talk but his intelligence and innocence make the girls fall for him. You fall in love with characters and their lives. Prepare for tears!

5. "How to Get Away With Murder."

Five students are hired by their law teacher to be her personal interns on her cases. Helping solve murders and crimes, the team finds themselves in a whirl of trouble when Mrs. Keating’s husband is murdered and what follows haunt them. A crime show with a whole lot of sexual tension. Oh, yes.

6. "American Horror Story."

Each season is a different storyline -- but you have to be just as slightly messed up as the show is to enjoy it. Haunted houses, alien attack, insane asylums, witches, and freak shows. It's so weird yet you can’t look away.

7. "iZombie."

Olivia is a normal woman in her twenties: she has a great job and a great fiancé. One night she goes to a work party and a drug is dispensed around the party. People started dying and an unexpected zombie attack. Olivia is scratched making her a zombie. In her new life, she tries to hide her secret. She begins to work for a morgue and discovers that if she eats the brains of a deceased, she can see their memories. She uses this gift to help solve murder cases. Bit of a cheesy storyline but great as a crime show.

8. "New Girl."

Funniest show, ever. Jess, a grade school teacher, after walking in on her fiancé cheating on her, moves out – and in with three bachelors in the City. The struggle to live with three guys and them with her is comical.

9. "That '70s Show."

First things first – Donna and Eric (heart melting). Two teen neighbors fall in love and hang out with their friends. The group goes through high school in the mid-1970s. Comical and lesson enforcing.

10. "Pretty Little Liars."

Five teenagers go through high school while being harassed and attacked by “A.” You’d think it would be stupid, but it is actually very suspenseful.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
