When Glee first premiered in 2009, it took the world by storm! It addressed real issues that kids were having in schools and helped them feel heard and included all while throwing in some killer musical numbers.
The show may have ended over two years ago and some people may have thought the show was dumb or were annoyed by all of its success but you can't deny that it produced some amazing covers! I still find myself scrolling YouTube, coming across a Glee video and all of a sudden it's three hours later and I'm still jamming away.
So, I decided to compile a list of what I believe are the Top 10 best Glee covers.
10. ABC
How can you not sing along to this and want to get up and dance?!
9. You Can't Stop the Beat
Again, that slow start but once they get into it, it's hard to resist the urge to dance and sing along. Plus this is from one of my favorite musicals so I think that's why I like it so much.
8. I Lived
I may be a little biased because this is my all time favorite song but this was the perfect wrap to the series. And when they brought back all the old characters, it just warmed my heart.
7. Shake It Out
They are literally just sitting on stools and this was one of the most powerful performances ever on the show. It had such meaning and purpose and was just so emotional. It is a beautiful performance.
6. Marry You
This is so fun and makes you feel so happy for Finn's mom and Kurt's dad. And it was right at the hype of flash mobs so it was perfect timing.
5. Do You Wanna Touch Me?
YAAAASSS QUEEN! She kills this and helps us embrace the inner rocker in all of us.
4. Whistle
Ugh! I know he's supposed to be a "bad guy" in this show but that smile is just so captivating!
3. Nasty / Rhythm Nation
Those dance moves are on FIRE! I think Janet Jackson herself would be proud!
2. I'm a Slave for You
It's Brittney Bitch! Again, those dance moves are out of this world. Heather Morris absolutely knocked this performance out of the park. I would kill for those abs!
1. Smooth Criminal
The winner is no contest in my opinion. The incredible vocals combined with the superb performance from the Cello Guys makes this number amazing! I have watched this video so many times and it never gets old.
