I am someone who is very particular about the physical environment that I am in. Whether I'm laying on the beach under the humid Florida sun, or laying on my couch in 68-degree air conditioning, I don't think I really have one exact answer to, "Would you rather be too hot or too cold?" This is a question that's asked a lot as the seasons change here and here out. Some people prefer to be scorching hot over blistering cold, whereas some prefer snow days than beach days. I for one, don't have a dead set preference. Here's why.
Like a lot of situations, I believe that there is good and bad in each. So much to where I truly cannot pick just one. As I lay in bed right now, I am very thankful that I sleep in, what some may call an igloo, air conditioning. There's nothing worse than sleeping in a hot room. I need to be cold with a bunch of blankets so that I'm extra comfy and therefore sleep like a BABY. Also preferably with a fan on, but whatever. I highly enjoy the cold. But only in certain situations.
Q: "Would you rather be too hot or too cold?"
A: When I sleep, too cold. Keep piling on the blankets. I sleep a million times better when it's colder.
But I get cold pretty easily when I'm not tucked into bed. I enjoy the heat to a certain extent. Not saying I love 100+ degree weather year round but I love the summer. When I'm going outside to enjoy the warm summer sun, I don't mind the heat. Some people would say, "how can you stay outside in this heat all day?" Well, let's see, I live in the midwest and we get three months a year where its summer time. Otherwise, we have inches of snow and sleet and misery. So, pretty easily, I'd say. I don't complain about the summer heat, because for someone who has lived in Illinois her entire life, I enjoy the heat. We don't get this as often as someone who lives in Nevada or Arizona. So I'll enjoy every square inch of sunshine I can get. When it comes to the weather, I definitely prefer summer over winter, that's for sure.
Q: "Would you rather be too hot or too cold?"
A: When I'm outside, too hot. I can always drink a cold beverage or jump in a pool!
When asked the age-old question, "would you rather be too hot or too cold," there are many mixed answers. "When it's cold you can just pile on more clothes, and when it's too hot there's only so much you can take off before you're just miserable." Or, "Being too cold is just miserable so I would rather just sweat". Everyone has their own preference, so ask yourself the timeless question, would you rather be too hot or too cold?
