If I could go back and give my 15-year-old self some words of advice these are a few things I would say.

To a 15-year-old girl,

Trust me, don't grow up too fast.

Trust me, natural beauty is greater.

Trust me, fall in love with yourself first.

Trust me, decide what is the best decision for you.

Trust me, follow your heart but understand that your heart may change.

Trust me, adults really do want to see you succeed and can offer to care and guiding words.

Trust me, the word yes easy but the word no can be more powerful.

Trust me, don't be afraid to take leaps.

Trust me, it is worth it to step outside of the norm.

Trust me, you are more than your label.

Trust me, be the person you want to be.

Trust me, be the friend you want your friends to be.

Trust me, it's okay to focus on yourself.

Trust me, it's okay to slow down and breathe.

Trust me, understand the bad is only temporary.

Trust me, know that you can not have the good without the bad.

Trust me, your life experiences make you, you, so embrace them and make them.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
