Remember when you were in middle school and your parents got you your first iPod touch for Christmas, and now you had a way to text your friends as well as some access to the internet? I don't. I didn't get my first iPhone until I was right about to enter high school, but what I did have was a little, blue iPod shuffle. I had a very limited song selection on this tiny iPod, most of which were show tunes.

However, while my bus driver would play the local radio station, I would be listening for some new songs to add to my collection next time someone gave me an iTunes gift card. In my opinion, the 25 songs I have listed below are some of the greatest hits of my middle school days.

1. "Can't Hold Us" — Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

2. "Hey, Soul Sister" — Train

3. "Classic" — MKTO

4. "Clarity" — Zedd, Foxes

5. "Only Girl (In the World)" — Rihanna

6. "Rolling in the Deep" — Adele

7. "We are Young" — fun., Janelle Monáe

8. "Uptown Funk" — Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars

9. "Radioactive" — Imagine Dragons

10. "Call Me Maybe" — Carly Rae Jepsen

11. "Thrift Shop" — Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

12. "Happy" — Pharrell Williams

13. "Riptide" — Vance Joy

14. "I Will Wait" — Mumford & Sons

15. "Titanium" — David Guetta, Sia

16. "Some Nights" — fun.

17. "Give Your Heart a Break" — Demi Lovato

20. "On The Floor" — Jennifer Lopez

21. "Applause" — Lady Gaga

22. "Roar" — Katy Perry

23. "Dance Again" — Jennifer Lopez

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
