My Thoughts While Listening to Kanye's New Album

I am wildly under qualified to write this review.

My Thoughts While Listening to Kanye's New Album
Kanye

Kanye West put out a new album last night. I'm not studying music and theater here at Oakland, I'm not hyper familiar with Kanye's discography, and I'm wildly unqualified to write a review of it. So instead I am just going to give you my thoughts while listening to it for the first time. I hope that's okay with you.

Lets get started!

He keeps saying pre-meditated murder and I'm so confused as to what is going on.

"I thought about killing myself and I love myself and I love me a lot more than I love you" this is a dark version of Kanye Loves Kanye from the last album.

Is he talking about Kim? "You only care enough to kill somebody you love".

Kim, RUN. Also is he going to rap soon because right now he's just talking and saying pre-meditated murder a lot.

Ok he's rapping now. It sounds good but I feel like this song is about Kim and I don't have any personal attachment to Kim but I'm worried about her.

He's talking about dying a lot and I know he played this for his friends and family before putting it on the album and did anyone help him??

It's a BOP but is he okay?!

Rating: 7/10 and I am terrified.

Track 2: Wouldn't Leave

Very soulful.

He's talking about slavery being a choice, oh no.

Okay he stopped talking about it and now he's talking about Kim having a panic attack after his Trump tweets. I don't blame you Kim.

Why does the beat remind me of Chance the Rapper?

This song is about Kim too and it seems really sweet but was he not talking about killing her last song?

Rating: 5/10. It's good but it's boring. I'm so sorry Kanye.

Track 3: Yikes

I think most of this album is Kanye talking about his struggles with mental health and honestly good for him.

This sounds like his Yeezus album it's kind of intense.

He talks about being on and off meds in this song and I think it lets his listeners know that it's not shameful to be on medication.

He hasn't said anything about Trump yet so I'm feeling good right now. I wonder if someone told him not to. I don't know why I'm analyzing his mental state.

Rating: 8/10. This was what I was expecting and I'm into it.

Track 4: All Mine

I heard this song is about sex.

It is.

Wow this mans voice is high. I'm sorry I'm reffering to all the featured artists as "man" but Kanye didn't list their names.

He just referenced Stormi Daniels and it was not very polite.

HE JUST REFERENCED TRISTIAN THOMAS. Kanye just said Khloe Kardashian's daughters father uses Christian Mingle. Where was that episode of Keeping Up?

Don't listen to this song around children or the elderly.

Track 5: Violent Crimes

Oh this one sounds controversial. I'm nervous.

It's kind of gospel singer-ish.

It's about his children. I don't know these people but I am crying.

I have goosebumps.

He's talking about changing after having a daughter and it's really sweet but I wonder if North West is going to get picked on for her name when she's older and that's all I can think about.

Nicki Minaj talks at the end so I'm in heaven.

Rating: 10/10. Not only is it a BOP but it's a sentimental one.

Track 6: Ghost Town

All the voices on the album sound familiar but I can't place them.

I don't think I'm going to like this one.

It's grungy which I usually like. Kanye is singing and that's cool I like a man who's multi-talented.

Yeah I don't love it.

Rating: 4/10. Kanye, please don't be upset.

Number 7: No Mistakes

This sounds like an outro it doesn't really stand out.

He's still a savage I don't care.

I'm sure there are so many disses that I am missing.

It reminds me of a song off the Pablo album but I am too lazy to look it up. I apologize.

Rating: 5/10. It's fine.

THATS ALL. This is such a short album but I saw on twitter someone said it's "All killer, no filler". I'm not cool enough to say that though.

I really liked a few of these tracks. It's Kanye West so obviously the album is going to do exceptionally well and he is sitting in his mansion with his hot wife and adorable kids and not giving a hoot about my opinions on this album.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

6 Things Owning A Cat Has Taught Me

Owning a pet can get difficult and expensive. Sometimes, their vet bills cost hundreds of dollars just for one visit. On top of that, pets also need food, a wee wee pad for a dog, a litter box with litter for a cat, toys, and treats. Besides having to spend hundreds of dollars on them, they provide a great companion and are almost always there when you need to talk to someone. For the past six years, I have been the proud owner of my purebred Bengal cat named Spock. Although he's only seven years and four months old, he's taught me so much. Here's a few of the things that he has taught me.

It's fun to see all of the selfies on social media, they are everywhere. I see pictures with pouty lips, duck lips and pucker lips. I see smokey eyes, huge fake lashes and nicely done nose jobs, boob jobs and butt lifts. Women working out in spandex, tiny tops and flip flops. I see tight abs and firm butts, manicured nails and toes, up dos and flowing hair. "Wow", I think to myself," I could apply tons of make-up, spend an hour on my hair, pose all day and not look like that. Maybe I need a longer stick!"

Ancient Roman Kings: 7 Leaders of Early Rome

The names and dates of the reigns of the first four kings, as well as the alternation of Sabin and Latin names, are more legendary than historical. The last three kings, of Etruscan origin, have an existence which seems less uncertain.

It is evident that all this is only a legend although archeology shows us little by little that these kings if they did not exist as the ancient history, describes them, have at least in the very Outlines were real as chief of a shepherd’s tribe. The period when kings ruled Rome could estimate at 245 years.
