My boyfriend played football throughout college, so I sat through a lot of football games. Home and away, I was always there. I loved that I got to watch him play almost every single game of his college career, however, I do not have the most knowledge about football. And by that, I mean none. Here are a few of the many thoughts that go through my head during a football game.
*Arrives at the stadium approximately 1 hour before the game starts to get a good seat*
Is the game starting yet, because I’ve been sitting here forever!!

What do they even decide in the coin toss?
He’s a captain so that's pretty awesome!
Oh god, I would be scared if he was running toward me!

What does it mean when they catch the ball and then take a knee?
Why doesn’t anyone pick up the ball?

So basically, what I've learned is that I've learned nothing in the four years that I avidly watched football. But I had a lot of fun doing it! If you're anything like me I suggest getting a football for dummies book, or googling the majority of your questions so that you don't look completely ridiculous when you ask your boyfriend what the coin toss is for.
