It is often frustrating when things don't go as planned. There are many people who are early planners that are used to setting up their schedules and itineraries far in advance. On the other hand, there are some people who prefer living only in the present and not planning way ahead into the future. I'm someone who is an early planner and feel that it's better to plan some things far in advance because it provides you with a general guideline on what you should look into more. However, not everything goes as planned and it sometimes becomes really traumatizing.
But, I have learned from my experiences that if something doesn't happen when you want it to, then there must be a reason why. An example of such a situation was when I missed my flight to Italy. Due to that missed flight, I had to postpone my trip for 2 months. It wasn't a great situation to be in because my entire schedule got messed up. It is actually really difficult to reschedule a lot of things when you already cleared out your schedule for vacation.
Likewise, there must have been a good reason why I missed my flight and it could have been a warning signal conveying that I should head to Italy after 2 months. Another thing to understand is that we cannot always predict what our future will look like. Things change just like humans. Our lives are always flowing capriciously and not letting such frustrations get to you is key to a stress-free life. The major lesson that I learned is that planning ahead is not always the best idea because things may change.
No matter how disappointing it may be if things don't go as planned, remember that everything is usually subject to change. Focus on the bright side and remain hopeful about what the next step will be. In the same manner, if you like to plan things early, please continue to do so because there is nothing wrong with that. By doing this, you are able to analyze all the situations beforehand and decide your plan of action earlier. So next time, if you come across such a situation, remember to keep calm and don't panic!
