There are two types of people in this world: those who are dog people, and then there are those who want to sit back and watch the world burn. In American culture, we love and cherish our pets. They are a member of the family and are to be treated as such.

Sometimes it can feel like we are undeserving of the unconditional love our dog gives us on a daily basis. They give enough love for multiple lifetimes, which is why taking on the responsibility of being a dog mom is so rewarding.

After all of the potty training and all of the chewed up messes, they find a place within our hearts that can never be replaced. Dogs are so special to a lot of us. If you are a dog mom, then you will be able to relate to any of these 13 things.

1. While some people are planning on when they will have their next child, you're making plans for when you will get your next puppers.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. I have never been so thankful to know you.
