My gratitude for what I have learned in my life's experiences.

The Span Of My Education
Pexles

I am so grateful for my education.

I am grateful for the education my parents gave me from a very young age, as they taught me about how to have a sense of humor, how to have confidence in myself, how to stand up for what I believe in, and how to love others.

I am grateful for what my hometown taught me. I learned how to work hard, to think for myself, and how to respect and how to make the most of any situation.

I am grateful for the places I have been able to travel for teaching me to love art and food and culture like I could've never dreamed.

I am grateful for my church for teaching me how to have faith, and have open arms, and how to enjoy any type of food before noon.

I am grateful for my elementary school education for teaching me how to make friends and keep them for my whole life. I’m grateful that I learned how to read, and how to love reading, and how to appreciate daily walks with friends.

I am grateful for my junior high education for teaching me about what it means to be an individual, and teaching me that my parents aren’t the worst.

I am grateful for my high school education where I learned how to be a teammate. I learned how to learn from my peers. I was taught what it meant to support and understand differences in opinion.

I am grateful for what I learned at every summer camp I went to. I learned to love the world around me, and truly appreciate it. I learned what it meant to be myself and to smile the broadest.

I am grateful for what I am learning at university, and the incredible worldview broadening opportunities. I am grateful that I am learning about the beautiful diversity in people I get to meet, how to balance myself, and how to love learning.

I am grateful for what my future already holds. I am excited that I get to teach others, and be a positive influence in their lives. I am amazed at how my life and experiences have shaped who I am, what is important to me, and how I live my life. It makes me happy to know that I have so much more left to learn in this beautiful world, full of beautiful people.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
