"The Sisterhood of Night" is a teen flick drama about the modernized Salem witch trial. The film shows the viewers a group of young girls who vow a silence off of social media into the mysterious world in the forest.
The story begins with Emily Parris exposing a secret created by the sisterhood. Emily accuses the sisterhood of sexual and satanic acts. Her allegations throw this town into a roller-coaster in the limelight of an American media.
The story follows up with three girls, very unique and challenging course of action to the loneliness of the youth, revealing hardship of teenage years forever changed by the new age of social media.
While watching this film it just brought up memories about my teen years. How I didn’t have a care in the world, it was all about me, making mistakes, and having a good childish time. Plus, I always rushed my age and I wanted to grow up so fast.
Now, that I’m older and watching this film it made me realize that children today should never rush their ages and enjoy their youth because time flies by extremely fast before you even know it.
What I love most about this film is that adults and teenagers can both watch this film together and can relate to it as well. We were teenagers once in our lifetime. Remember?
