The Office Explains College and Finals Week

"I don't hate it. I just don't like it at all, and it's terrible" -Michael Scott

It's only hardly week two and I can already tell that the next few weeks will be the most trying time of my life. I was utterly spoiled with food and no homework over Thanksgiving Break and now I've been thrust back into the hell fires of responsibilities and school as I slowly crawl towards Christmas. So without further ado, here are the next few weeks via the cast of The Office:

When you let yourself skip a class knowing damn well you don't have any more skips.

When your teachers keep giving you work up until finals week.

When you're so done with the semester and any of your teachers try to critique the work that you had to muster up all your motivation to do.

Writing final papers like...

Trying to eat healthy with all this stress...

When someone asks you how you've been.

Trying to explain to your parents why they should let you drop out with 2 weeks left..

When you're such a good friend that you try to boost your friend's morale even though you're as hopeless as they are.

And finally, the moment we've all been waiting for...the minute finals week ends and you get to go home.

Good luck, fellow warriors.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
