It's that spooky time of year again!

Time for crisp fall nights, carving pumpkins, getting your costumes ready, and...bath bombs?

You bet! I started at Lush around a month ago right when they released the Halloween products, and I just have to brag about how awesome they are. So here are some of my favorites, in no particular order!

1. Monster's Ball Bath Bomb

This bath bomb reminds me of Boo's monster costume in Monster's Inc. And also, Mike Wazowski. It has a light floral and citrus scent, featuring lime and neroli oil, as well as fair trade cocoa butter for some extra moisture. The water turns a beautiful purple and blue.

2. Bewitched Bubble Bar

This bubble bar is one of my favorites because it's 1. shaped like a kitty and 2. has a really comforting berry scent! I really enjoy subtle fruity fragrances so that was for sure a winner. And, it's also included in the Bewitched gift set!

3. Pumpkin Bath Bomb

Pumpkin spice latte in your bath! All the classic fall scents of vanilla, cinnamon, and pimento. This also comes in the Little Pumpkin gift set.

4. Sparkly Pumpkin & Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bars

While the orange sparkly pumpkin has fruity and juniper berry scents, the pink pumpkin has bergamot and jasmine for a more sensual scent. The pink pumpkin pairs great with the Sex Bomb bath bomb! And the orange Sparkly pumpkin comes in the Little Pumpkin gift set!

5. Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb & Shower Cream

This was usually going to be part of the Christmas release as well, but this year it's only for Halloween. Both of these have the spicy and earthy scents of patchouli and black pepper oil, and the bath bomb has a secret wine-colored center.

6. Ectoplasm Jelly Bomb

The jelly bomb is the new addition to the bath lineup. This is the Halloween exclusive one, but there are going to be more added in the coming months. There is a seaweed base, which gives it the jelly consistency and has a fruity grapefruit scent. The Secret Arts jelly bomb also came out this month, but it's going to be sticking around forever!

7. Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar

The final thing I'm super excited about is the goth fairy shimmer bar! Like the other shimmer bars, it smooths on shimmer with the moisture of a massage bar and gives you a light blackcurrant scent. The shimmer it gives off has a bit of the purple hint, but it won't give off a huge purple color on your skin.

There are a few other products only around for Halloween, so be sure to stop by your neighborhood Lush or shop online before everything ghosts you!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
