The United States Government Cannot Be Trusted To Keep Us Safe During A Pandemic

The Coronavirus, which started an outbreak and then an epidemic has now become a pandemic, and only seems to be getting worse. As more people begin to get infected, placed in quarantine, and thousands have already died, the level of concern and panic is drastically increasing. It is unsure how the outbreak started and how it will be stopped, but what remains clear is the level of trust that the American people has with the government to keep them safe from this deadly virus is diminishing.

Only the people with a science and medical background who always work efficiently and professionally, should address this situation. Donald Trump believes that he knows more about this pandemic. Perhaps, instead of making everything about himself, Trump should act presidential and assure the American people and the world the W.H.O is effortlessly working towards fighting this pandemic. However, Trump's narcissistic demeanor once again prevented him from admitting that he is wrong. Trump does not want to declare an emergency since it will go against his personal beliefs that the coronavirus is no different than the flu, and that it will set off a somehow greater panic than what has already occurred. According to a report by the New York Post, Trump recently announced that traveled from Europe, excluding the U.K will be suspended in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus. Trump only gave this Oval Office address to help his failing legacy since the virus is also impacting the economy.

There might be a connection with Covid-19 pandemic and the relationship that human beings have with the Earth. Before this virus began there have been previous outbreaks that the world was able to get under control after a period of time. They were stopped before things got out of control. However, people have been causing harm to this planet for many decades, and in return, things have not gone so well. From creating genetically modified food to the unsanitary places like China where food is served and stored, we have not been showing much respect towards the Earth. Perhaps Mother Nature is harming us because of the hate and neglectfulness we show on a daily basis. Human beings may think they are in control, but that may not be the case.

According to a report, the increased skepticism that Republicans feel about the coronavirus might be tied to a philosophical viewpoint, since this is a serious concern that many right-wing politicians believe is not that big of a deal.

Besides, not having any trust in our government, I have also noticed the coronavirus pandemic has also exposed virtuous and spiritual points of view. During a crisis, human beings react negativity out of anger, fear, and grief, not just because of the outbreak going on, but the impact that it has on their lives. Because of what people hear on t.v and read on the internet, they are afraid to leave their houses; they cannot travel, and need to avoid getting too close to people while shopping. Along with that, the situation is continuing to grow more dire as more than 1,000 cases have been reported, and 37 deaths were confirmed in the United States.

Since Donald Trump has restricted travel from Europe, hopefully this is will prevent more people from getting infected.

Ever since the World Health Organization announced the coronavirus is a pandemic, the country and the world has become more divided than ever before. We know that Trump cannot be trusted to lead this nation and he never will. Due to the fact that America has the most corrupt President in modern history, it is up to the people to make their voices heard and vote in order to unite this nation, save the world from destruction, and return humanity to the way it was before.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
