"Grumpy" or "Great" the choice is yours to make. We make decisions every second of the day. Isn't it time to start living instead of simply going through the motions? You have so much to live for; be intentional with your 24 hours. The clock is ticking.
Choose To See Differently.
Monday blues can't stand a chance when it comes in contact with a grateful heart. The weekend is indeed great BUT guess what, here in 5 more days it will be here again. Let's take on Monday with open arms. How you start anything is how you'll finish everything. If you choose to see an ending of something as so; you'll never experience another chapter with a load of new challenges, friends and lessons to be learned. Adversity is something for us to go through so we can help out our loved one's when similar challenges occur. There is Gold beneath all of the rubble. It's not that the challenges are impossible to beat; you're just looking at them wrong. Accept them. Train your mind to ask "how can I use this to help others" and not "why is this happening to me?"
Choose Forgiveness.
Life has altercations because people have opinions. Make the choice to respect them. If something offends you; forgive them even if they didn't say sorry. Why? You don't have the extra time to harbor thoughts. Wishing that someone would apologize is similar to spraying yourself in the face with water as it's raining, it just doesn't make sense. Make the choice to forgive. Be intentional with what you have to achieve within your life. Wasted time is nothing but a wasted opportunity to make great memories with others.
Choose To Rest.
Busy Bees. A term that is still so inclusive to humans. Life is busy enough. Between work, school, honoring the friendships & relationships, there just isn't enough time. When we grow weary we often become irritable. When we become irritable it becomes very challenging to choose how we see and forgive; we are more vulnerable which leads us to spend our time with a lazy intent. Remember that it's O.K. to take some "YOU time." Choose to rest. Resting will allow you to live with a purposeful intent vs one that just "gets by." After-all, aren't we seeking a more abundant life? Choosing to rest with the right intention will get us there.
It's a New Year. A NEW chance to make sure you're choosing to do the right things in order to reach your pinnacle of success. Keep it simple. Live it well and CHOOSE to make YOUR life better.
You can do this.
