Group date with a side of drama? Yes, please!

This week's first group date was about selected guys pampering Becca and her friends from Arie's season. Of course, Colton was on this date and so was Tia (they both had briefly dated before this season of "The Bachelorette" was finalized)! The group date focused on Colton and Tia talking about how uncomfortable they were and Becca decided that she could move past that Colton and Tia had dated (yay).

Then Chicken man (David) went from a pretty normal guy to a crazy dude that needs to leave. We all know that Jordan, the male model who looks like the Ken Barbie doll, is a jerk who only cares about himself and is there to boost his career. Becca knows it, Jordan knows it and Bachelor Nation knows it. Chicken man sets out to do the basic stages of action that lead to getting sent home:

1. Uses his time with Becca to talk trash about Jordan

2. Sabotages other relationships

3. Keeps egging on Jordan till he explodes to create drama

4. Worries about other guys instead of his own relationship.

The saddest thing about this is that Chicken man seemed high in the ratings of good guys to keep around.

Jordan

The one-on-one this week was ~surprisingly~ Chris R. (the Perez Hilton look alike). TBH, I had low expectations for this date and was a little stunned that he got selected for this date. Well turns out Becca knows what she is doing because Chris is awesome! By the end of the date, I'm excited to see what else comes through their relationship.

Chicken

*Chicken man fell off his top bunk bed and smashed his face into the floor. He was rushed to the E.R. and it looks like he will be fine.

The second group date of the week involved the guys playing football against each other to gain Becca's affection. Naturally, the men whose paychecks depend on sports are there to play some ball! Our little sweetheart Clay got injured while playing, which broke my heart because he brought his team from losing to winning. The date continues and the men get to spend quality time with Becca. So far, this seems like a good group of guys and then CLAY RETURNS. The guys question if they will get a rose on that date since Clay is back in the game. The guys were right to be worried-Clay secured the rose of the night.

Clay

Fast-forward to the next day, it is time for the cocktail party before the rose ceremony. There are some guys who got zero dates that week, so bye bye boys. In an unexpected turn of events, Clay's injury is worse than foreseen and has to undergo surgery immediately. Clay stills plays in the NFL and explained that he provides for his family by playing football. After many tears, Becca and Clay know it's the right thing for Clay to go back home.

This weeks episode ended without a rose ceremony and fans must wait for next week to officially know who goes home.

High Key disappointments:

1. The hilarious 'fight' that happened between Chicken and Jordan. Even the other guys couldn't stop laughing at their conversation.

2. That Jordan really didn't injure Chicken man.

3. Clay had to go home and I'm not okay with that.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
