2.The Sweet and Salty Honey-Baked Ham

An alternative option to the turkey, honey baked ham is essential to the meats of Thanksgiving. It's baked honey shell covering the ham is the perfect amount of sweet to go with the salty, savory taste inside.

Mashed potatoes are a Thanksgiving classic. With their buttery creamy flavor, they go perfect with the rolls and turkey. You can even mix it up a little and add bacon and cheese to create the ultimate loaded mashed potatoes.

5.The All-Famous Stuffing:

What's a turkey without the famous stuffing to compliment it? There are thousands of recipes out there for the phenomenal turkey stuffing (although, I suggest going with Grandma's).

Sweet potato casserole is another sweet side that adds a delicious dish to the assortment of sides. With toasted marshmallows on top, and warm, sweet potatoes below, it makes a dish no one can resist.

If you’ve never tried cranberry casserole, you're definitely missing out. This dish provides a sweet side with a burst of cranberry flavor in every bite. Plus, what better way to get your fruits in than with this delicious dish?

9. Fluffy, Buttery Rolls

Who can resist the smell of buttery rolls? These carb-loaded beauties are a must on Thanksgiving dinner, and make a to-die-for duo with the mashed potatoes!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace.
