Dear Mom,

With Mother's Day quickly approaching I wanted to take a moment to step back from our crazy lives to say "thank you."

Thank you for the hour long phone calls.

Thank you for the life advice.

Thank you for letting me gossip about my friends and telling me all about yours.

Thank you for letting me tell you all of the tiny things that upset me that probably shouldn't.

Thank you for not getting angry when I spend too much on impulse shopping trips.

Thank you for doing my laundry when I come home.

Thank you for being kind even when I'm being difficult.

Thank you for late-night food runs when I'm home.

Thank you for letting me go off to school.

Thank you for blasting music in the car.

Thank you for letting me be myself and for loving me no matter what.
