Frizzy Hair Hacks
If you have issues with frizzy hair, do NOT dry your hair with a towel. It makes it ten times frizzier. Letting it air dry is the way to go.
Washing Clothes
When you wash white clothes, it's better to do it in hot water. All your other colors? Cold water.

You can kill almost all the germs in a sponge by putting it in your dishwasher for a cycle. Or, microwave it for about two minutes.

Washing Hair

Another Hair Washing Tip
If you have really long hair, just wash the tips and the close to your scalp. The rest of your hair will get all the cleaning it needs from the run off of your scalp.

If you can clearly feel your tampon, you have it in there wrong. A tampon used/placed right is practically unnoticeable.
Deodorant
Don't apply it right before you go out. Apply it a few hours before hand to give it a chance to close your pores.
Drying Clothes
Use the dryer sheet from the previous load to clean out the lint catch.
Clean Face
Wash your face every day or as often as you possibly can if you can't do it every day. That will lead to cleaner, healthier skin. Also, don't pop your pimples!
Folding clothes
Fold all your clothes as soon as they come out of the dryer. It makes all the difference.

1. They have the realest meet cute ever.
When Donnie moves to Philly into a loft building for millennials, he's disturbed by the music blaring from his downstairs neighbor. He goes down and bangs on the door, only to have the door open by Bianca who was in the middle of mixing her music. He can't even find words to say for a minute cause he's just hypnotized by this girl. It's something you don't usually see in dramatic movies and it isn't cheesy.
2. They both have personal goals.
GiphyThey aren't that couple that is attached to the hip to each other. They both have their own personal goals and they love to see each other achieving their dreams. Adonis has that smile when he watches Bianca sing and Bianca would shadowbox when Adonis is fighting in the ring.
3. They motivate each other.
Having that person by your side cheering you on is the most motivating feeling a person can have. Both of these characters are in each other's corners during those big moments whether it be the biggest fight in your career or your first live concert in front of a whole crowd.
4. They keep each other grounded.
When they elevate in their careers, neither let's the other get a big head and reminds the person where they started and what's really important to them. When Adonis is going to fight Drago both times, Bianca keeps him in a stable ground especially after the beating he has after the first fight. She supports her man but at the same time, she keeps him in check when his ego gets the best of him.

In the movies, Adonis is beaten to a pulp by Viktor Drago and Bianca is at his side and helps him recover from the fight that could've taken his life. All while Bianca suffers from progressive hearing loss and eventually will go fully deaf. Most guys would just leave and not want to deal. But Adonis is willing to make it work with her because of love. He even starts learning sign language with her so he could communicate with her. Name a guy who takes the time to be there for his girl.
6. They genuinely love each other.

Their relationship is more than just a sexual relationship, they are both lovers and friends. They are two characters who appear as closed off are able to actual conversations with each other about their hopes and fears. The only person Adonis can talk to about the pressures of having the name "Creed" and having to live up to his father's legacy is Bianca. Bianca opens up to Adonis about her hearing loss and her fear of their own kids having the same condition genetically. Between the first and second movie, we see a relationship established over three years and the puppy love that the started at grew to a genuine real love.
7. Their little family is so beautiful.
We see Adonis and Bianca have a daughter in Creed 2 and we see them become new parents. A lot of people loved seeing the black family displayed in movies so beautifully. One of the heart-wrenching challenges they face is when their daughter, Amara, is born deaf and we see them both go through the devastating news and finding the strength in each other to be there strong for their baby. We see them at the end of the movie visiting Apollo's grave and she has the same hearing aids her mother has, foreshadowing them being a united front as a family and future children to come in the next movies.
8. They are a team in and outside the ring.
Not only are they a team as a couple, but they're also a team in life. Whether it be raising a family or going into a fight, they got each other's back. They move across the country from Philadelphia to Los Angelas together to start their new life and go through expecting a baby. Going through life's moments and being the safety net for the other person.
9. They can keep it 100 with each other.
This couple has a "No BS Rule" meaning they are honest and don't keep secrets from each other. Whatever's going on, they aren't afraid to check to other person and be truthful with each other at the same time. Their moments just laying down on the floor and just letting the other person in is just touching.
10. Their romance is not picture perfect but it's real love.

Case in point, When Donnie gets into a fight at Bianca's show, she's scared at the kind of person he becomes when he's angry. But later we see her fly to London to be there for his first official fight and she's able to understand how much pain he's kept in over so many years and he felt safe to finally let it go. Fast forward to Creed 2 when he proposes to Bianca, she couldn't hear him the first time and he was able to shake off the nerves and spoke from the heart. What makes their story so beautiful and genuine are that those moments are real and it shows two people falling in love.

When I first saw the trailer for season one of Netflix's "GLOW," I wasn't sure how to take it. Something seemed off to me. I'm all for wrestling themed shows; as a kid, I grew up watching WCW and WWE's Monday night battles with my dad. That love for wrestling continued to grow as my little brother got into watching it with us, and when we finally saw a live show, he and I painted our faces like Sting. It's fake but its amazing! The fans are incredibly invested. When we saw Summerslam, people were dressed as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, and just as every Catholic knows to end a prayer with "Amen," the arena was filled with wrestling's religious chant of "WHOOOOOOO!"
But personally, wrestling has lost much of the enjoyment factor as I've gotten older. The "characters" lack the larger-than-life quality that so many wrestlers of yesteryear had. The faces of WWE aren't as charismatic as they once were. That left a bad taste in my mouth, and seeing the trailer for "GLOW," left me with the assumption that it would be as lackluster as wrestling has become.
I don't think I have ever been so wrong about something before. "GLOW" has easily become one of my favorite shows, and its an utter joy. It's funny, and it approaches the underdog story in a new way, taking inspiration from something many forgot about or never heard of; the real-life "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling."
"GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" is a documentary on Netflix in which sparked the idea for Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. If it isn't clear, I think their spark has resulted in their striking gold!
Season one of the Netflix show follows the formation of the wrestling show that premiered in 1986. The various characters take inspiration from real life "Gorgeous Ladies of Wresting" wrestlers, with Alison Brie's Zoya the Destroyer being a clear incarnation of Lorilyn Palmer's Col. Ninotchka, and Britney Young's Machu Picchu finding its source in Emily Dole's Mountain Fiji.
The writers do take liberties and mix the facts with their own brand of fiction. In doing so, season one follows as these women struggle to find their place, and come to form something special not only for themselves but in something that resonates with fans alike. The season comes to a close as they film the pilot for the women's wrestling show, ending on the ambiguous "will they get a season," simultaneously asking the same question about the fate of the Netflix original.
I watched the first season four times, back to back to back to back because it's enchanting. All of the women are strong actors, perform their own stunts, and excel in their comedic timing. Jackie Tohn is continuously hilarious, while Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin prove that as a duo they stand as a tour de force. In the center of the "I am woman, hear me roar!" mentality, we have the eccentric producer Bash Howard and chauvinist Sam Sylvia, played by Marc Maron, whose abrasive style of humor balances the show in a surprising and delightful way.

Season one oozed magic, while season two took a few minutes to get back on its feet. The sophomore season opens with the "back from summer vacation" vibe that many television shows suffer from when returning from hiatus. By the third episode, however, the feeling is gone. As it turns out, the girls produced a hit, gaining success from their pilot, and season two explores the directions they take to hold that success.
Netflix's second run quite strongly moves the story forward, again blending fact and fiction. Additionally, it brings about deeper developments for the four emerging leads; Alison Brie's Ruth, Betty Gilpin's Debbie, Marc Maron's Sam and Chris Lowell's Bash. This, however, differs from the show's freshman run as the storyline more evenly divided among the supporting characters. But in the sacrifice of moments like "The Dusty Spur's" touching Shelia the She-Wolf's episode opening, these four character's stories intermingle and help drive the plot forward in full throttle.

In that speed, we witness an actual reenactment of a real "GLOW" episode from the 80's, and a finale that greatly differs from the premiere season. Rather than face the ambiguity of success, the reality of failure is instead presented. "GLOW" is canceled.
The girls, however, find hope in the prospect of bringing the show as a live performance in Vegas. Again, the show played reality, asking if they'll be canceled in. Thankfully life did not imitate art this time, and the show has been signed on for a third season.
The interesting thing here, however, is that the real-life "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" always filmed live in Vegas from the get-go. That leaves some speculation for moving forward... new network, new wrestling personas? This departure from the actual trajectory of its real-life inspiration begs such questions, including, where is the story going now?
In real life, Bash Howard's counterpart Matt Cimber left "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" and produced "POWW: Powerful Woman of Wrestling," in which some of the Gorgeous Ladies jumped ship. It would be interesting if the Netflix dramedy followed this path. While Col. Ninotchka didn't make the jump, "POWW" featured its own Russian lead, Sasha The Russian. Maybe Ruth jumps ship to "POWW" in order to star as the lead, something Debbie/Liberty Bell stole from her (with the friendship/acting rivalry continuing as a dynamic between them).
Staying within that vein, Bash and Debbie definitely got closer in season two. Despite him marrying Rhonda at during the finale, what if a relationship blossoms between him and Debbie, as my brother suggested after he viewed the season? He went on to suggest
"But she [Debbie] remains with "GLOW" out of loyalty to Sam and due to the fact that she is the shining star of that program already. Then the feud would be deeper between her and Ruth, and a feud between Bash and Sam would begin, as they have competing shows."
With the romantic relationships between these characters as well (as Sam began to fall for Ruth) a lot of potential drama develops. If my predictions (and my brothers) are correct, just remember it was said well in advance here before it came to the small screen.

There are so many directions the show can take, and I for one can't wait to see where it goes! "Glow, Glow, that's the name, women's wrestling is the game!" (Flahive, Mesch, Rothchild). The show is amazing! It's always funny, the wrestling is enjoyable, and these actresses clearly know what they're doing. And the dramatic moments shine as well, particularly with Betty Gilpin, who shows she is a tremendous talent. She definitely deserves the Emmy!
All I know is that whatever happens in the junior season, it'll be amazing!

While I whip out my debit card and pay up for the "luxury" of tampons, check out these 10 items you ladies may not realize you're paying for that your male counterparts are not.
1. Mascara
Makeup, in general, is a cost that males don't traditionally incur, but mascara might be the most ridiculous extra cost women pay in the area of facial beauty. We literally feel the need to purchase paint that makes our eyelashes longer. I don't even really understand why this is necessary.
2. Hair ties
Our ponytails don't just magically stay in place on their own. Us girls have to buy special rubber bands just to keep ourselves from sweating to death or not being able to see. Awesome.
3. Spanx

4. Tampons
Ahh yes, the most magical time of the month. NOT! Women have to pay extra money bleed while in pain. Does that even sound logical?!
5. Jewelry
Part of wearing clothing as a female is accessorizing. We buy tiny sparkly things to wear in addition to clothes while men rarely have to consider extra costs like that.
6. Hair dye
Hair dye is expensive, especially when you care about your hair and want it done right by a professional. Yes, a lot of us ladies do it for fun, but we also feel pressure to hide those gray hairs as we age. God forbid we appear old.
7. Nail polish
Just like hair dye, good nail polish is pricy. Sure, it lasts almost forever, but it's still an additional cost men don't even have to think about. If their nails aren't ragged, they're considered put together. Women on the other hand require steps beyond our nails appearing "normal."
8. Different types of socks
Because there is a greater variety in the shoes women are socialized to wear, there is a wider variety of socks ladies must purchase. Men's shoes are usually only cut one or two ways, so they can get away with fewer pairs of socks overall.
9. Hair styling tools
Females are supposed to keep their hair long, but we're also supposed to be able to keep it tamed. Enter expensive, damaging hair tools that look foreign to most men.
10. Purses
No matter how hard I try and no matter how many bags I fall in love with, I will never understand why girls seem to have to carry a crap ton of extra stuff around in a purse while men get away with stuffing things in their unfairly-sized pockets. Purses are expensive while pants are required, and that just doesn't seem right.
Sure, a lot of women, myself included, enjoy buying many of these items. They add a little flair to our lives. But, it's kinda how much more money women have to spend to reach a social level of equality with men. Food for thought.
