Procrastination happens to the best of us because sometimes you just can't bring yourself to focus on all of the tasks on your to-do list! Now that syllabus week is long behind you, those due dates that you marked on your calendar are fast approaching. A month ago, it didn't hit you that you had tons of major assignments for every class all due within the same two-week span. Forced to get back into the grind, you inevitably fall into the trap of ignoring your canvas reminders.

Finals are just around the corner. The relaxing week-long Thanksgiving break we were given a few days ago was a blessing, but it was also the calm before the storm and has left millions of college students returning to school feeling stressed and frustrated.
These next few weeks are awful for college students.I am swamped with essays and exams I have to study for. I find myself constantly feeling like I have to go somewhere or do something. If I take one second to relax and breathe, I feel guilty. I feel this because the end of the semester is coming at the speed of light. There is just so much to do in so little time. I feel so overwhelmed.

1. Feeling accomplished after writing the MLA heading on your paper

2. Waking up 20 minutes before your assignment is due at 11:59 pm

3. When you've already waited until the last possible minute and can't procrastinate anymore

4. Trying to multitask everything that you put off

5. Realizing that the assignment was due before class

6. Hyperventilating as you question how you will finish all your work on time

7. Searching for the motivation to start your work in you third cup of coffee

8. Attempting to write the paper that's due but only one word can come to your mind...

9. Trying to look for the motivation to start your assignments on time

10. Checking canvas for assignments after not looking at it for the whole weekend

It's okay if you mess up.

The college experience doesn't last forever, so do what you can to enjoy it as much as possible.

1. GO TO CLASS

2. And then actually pay attention

3. Start strong, stay strong

4. Be proactive with your time

5. Actually read assigned readings

6. Don't procrastinate

7. Find a good study spot

8. Then put down your phone and actually study

9. Get a decent amount of sleep every night

10. Review class notes

11. Go to office hours

12. (Attempt to) have an eating schedule

13. Drink more water

14. Get and use a planner

15. Be involved on campus

16. Call home every now and then

17. Make time for friends

18. Make time for yourself

19. Enjoy being a college student

It's okay, you messed up but you're going to get this done.

Here's the breakdown; only 350 words per hour and you'll be done no later than 2 am.

How is this only 129 words?!?

Crap, I need more sources.

Now I'm a little behind schedule, but I can still do it!

Okay, I've got four and half pages out of seven, I'll be done by 5 am at the latest.

Why did I do this to myself?

Do I really need a degree?

You know what, now I'm mad. I'll finish it by 5:30 if it kills me.
