The Ultimate Itinerary For The Girl Who Wants To See The World
But, like I said, I'll get to see all the countries I want to eventually and for now, I'm fine with my dreams.
It's hard to believe that it has already been exactly two weeks since I left Rutgers and finished up my freshman year of college. But, that's what happens. Time flies when you're having fun, and since getting to college I finally realize just how true that statement is. But, talking with my friends and family about all of my options and the future has made me realize just how much I want to travel at some point in time.
I thought about studying abroad, but at this point, I don't know if that's a feasible option in terms of expenses. It's alright though because I've decided that once I have the money and living a stable life, either during or after college, that is exactly what I'm going to do.
In the meantime, small road trips with friends and family take up my time. Like I said in a previous article, I'm the one for experiences rather than gifts. I've been incredibly lucky to have a family who enjoys traveling and seeing other states and towns just for the heck of it, as well as friends with the same thirst for adventure that I do. But, that doesn't stop me from thinking and talking about all the places I could visit. Watching travel vlogs and googling information about different countries doesn't help either. But, as I said, I'll get to see all the countries I want to eventually and for now, I'm fine with my dreams.
So, I guess you're wondering where exactly I want to go, the sights I want to see. Well, here's the list.
1. France
2. The Philippines
3. Switzerland
4. Greece
5. Japan
6. Bali
7. Australia
8. Spain
9. Dubai
10. Thailand
... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I've only named general countries, but the specifics that I could describe are endless. From historic landmarks to hole-in-the-wall restaurants, each country has millions of possibilities and things to see. You just have to be willing to search for them.
And honestly, this is just part of the future that I'm looking forward to. There are still countless other aspects that I have to think about like getting a job that pays decently and settling into my own place. But, those are things that have to do with the real world and aren't necessarily dreams. So, fingers crossed that I get to travel somewhere soon, even though its absolutely okay if it's not in the near future. I'll get there eventually, just like in everything else in life.
