5 Halloween Date Ideas For You And Your 'Boo'
Fun activities for the spookiest night of the year.
Halloween is a great time to get creative and do something new. Why not make it a date? You've probably done these things by yourself or with friends before, but maybe you'd like to let a special someone join the fun. Here are some ideas you can use to spice up your Halloween to make it a fun time for two:
1. Scary movie marathon.
Even if you aren't into super gory and horror type movies, there are still plenty of great Halloween movies for you to binge-watch with your boyfriend or girlfriend. There's "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "Monster House," "Coraline," and plenty more movies to curl up with. Or maybe there's a new movie coming out that you really want to see. Go see it with someone who will hold you if you're scared!
2. Host a Halloween party.
Curling up with just the two of you is great, but maybe you want to hang out with friends too. That's part of what makes Halloween so fun! You get to see each other's costumes and eat candy together. Gather some friends, get dressed up, and serve some spooky treats!
3. Carve a pumpkin.
Maybe you two are the creative type and like doing projects together. That's great! Head to a pumpkin patch together and pick a couple of pumpkins out. You could even work on the same pumpkin if you want. Cozy down with a big spoon and a trash bag and get carving! You can plan all kinds of designs and personalize it to make something you'll both love. If you don't want to carve, you can always paint or put stickers on your pumpkin. The pumpkin will last longer (and you'll avoid the gross, smelly corpse).
4. Scary games.
Do you guys like playing video games? There are plenty of great horror or thriller games for you two to play together. It's just like watching a scary movie (though hopefully, you'll make smarter choices than the characters in those films). You can also play different kinds of games (board games, role-playing games, etc.). You can have fun with just the two of you or play these at a party with some friends.
5. Make a costume together.
This is another good date idea if you and your significant other like crafts and making things. In fact, you could even turn this into multiple dates. Couples costumes are always adorable, so why not come up with something creative you can do together? You can go buy pre-made costumes from the store, but what fun is that? What if you two made your own costumes? I'm not saying you necessarily have to make every item from scratch (although you certainly can if you want to), but making something unique and special together can be a great bonding activity.
Well, I hope these tips help you have a safe and fun Halloween. Holidays are always great for spending time with loved ones, so why not plan a fun, special activity with your significant other? There are plenty of other things for you guys to do, so you can take something from this list or come up with something completely different. Whatever you decide, stay safe and have fun. Happy Halloween!
