So I'm the kind of person that likes to watch people go nuts in public over getting a discount TV and Keurig Coffee Maker and also will throw hands at somebody to get the last discount Keruig because your girl wants to save a dollar. Here is some advice on how to survive the hysteria this year.
1. Have a map plan.
Whether it's to the mall or your local shopping area, you gotta have a game plan. Know where your going to shop, what you're getting, and get out. My best guess is that you don't want to spend six hours at the mall.
2. Have a parking spot holder.
Parking will be a nightmare when you go out to shop anywhere. Have somebody in the family be the parking spot searcher and hold the spot for your car. As soon as someone pulls out, they jump out the car and stand in for you to park.
3. Do not go over your budget.
GiphyKeep to your budget and don't overspend. You don't need those $39 shoes, even though they're cute.
4. Bring coffee and blankets.
better to stay warm then to freeze and starve. You probably had Thanksgiving dinner early and the lines in the food court are long, bring some coffee or hot chocolate to stay awake. Even go for some blankets, especially if you're waiting outside.
5. Have padding
GiphyYou may be tackled or pushed so just be prepared. Some soccer knee pads in case you fall will be the best choice. If someone in the family plays football, ask to borrow their gear.
6. Invest in the fanny pack or sidesatchel
Fanny Packs Are Officially Back in Style and We Don't Know How to FeelLugging around a purse or having your wallet in your back pocket will make it prone to getting it stolen. Get yourself a fanny pack to keep your wallet and valuables in.
7. Remember to get something for yourself
GiphyJust because you're buying Christmas presents early doesn't mean you can't get a little something for yourself.
