SuperDuperKyle, or Kyle Harvey, is the 25-year-old 'happy rapper' from Ventura, California. Formerly known as K.i.D, Kyle began producing music in 2010 with short mixtapes. His first mixtape, Senior Year, was written, produced, and recorded by Kyle himself during his high school years. A few years later, he dropped his first album, Beautiful Loser. Since then, he has dropped two other albums and multiple singles. His first big break was his song, iSpy, featuring Lil Yatchy. This song became #4 on Billboard Charts and eventually became 4× Platinum. This song launched his explosion into other forms of expression including acting, modeling, and being a spokesperson for Sprite.

What makes the Happy Rapper so unique his ability to create songs in so many different genres. Ranging from upbeat pop to rap to slow and sad music. On all three albums, Kyle expanded his music style with unique lyrics and beats to create his own brand. His lyrics often resemble things that are important to him. He has said multiple times that rapping about what matters to him is what keeps him in his happy state of mind.

Many of his songs, mainly the slow ones, are dedicated to his long-time girlfriend, Jada. He also uses his passion for video games and Mario in his songs. One of his more popular songs, Sex and Super Smash Bros, uses sound effects from the original game to add a video game vibe.

Kyle gained much popularity after collaborating with Lil Yatchy; however, he's been making music with many other popular artists. He frequently collaborates with G-Easy, Kehlani, and MadeinTYO. After being chosen for the XXL Freshman 2017, he began to branch out and collaborate with other artists including 2 Chains, Wiz Kalifia, Chance the Rapper, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Through all of his rising popularity, Kyle still remains loyal to the group who was there with him from the beginning. He assembled what he calls the "SuperDuperCrew" back during the Beautiful Loser days. This rather large group includes his best friend/ DJ, his photographers, managers, and editors. He has even used his success to buy a large mansion for the entire crew to stay in. The loyalty from this group is one of the main reasons Kyle remains humble even after all his fame.

Kyle recently starred in a Netflix Original, The After Party. This movie follows the life of an aspiring rapper, Owen (played by Kyle), and his best friend, Jeff. Together, these two have one night to make Owen become a rapping sensation before Owen ships out for the military.

These two run into all kinds of trouble as they spend all night chasing around a huge music producer. Kyle said in an interview for The Angie Martinez Show, "It's almost like a hip-hip Superbad" as well as a "coming of age story" (Martinez "Kyle"). This movie was almost perfect for Kyle because it parallels with his own life and his rise to fame. His best friend, Brick, and manager, Nolan, worked for years alongside Kyle to make him into the star he is today.

Throughout 2018, Kyle has begun to explore more ways to showcase his talent. He became a model for Gap in July. He is one of the headlines for the #MeetMeInTheGap movement. He also was asked to be apart of the collab of McDonald's and Sprite for their new drink, MIX by Sprite Tropic Berry. He even wrote a song, That's the MIX, to promote the drink exclusively at McDonald's. He, for a limited time, will have a caricature of himself on select Sprite bottles. Be sure to grab one!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
