Everyone needs a summer bucket list! Having a summer bucket list will set the tone for your summer and show that you have high expectations for your vacation.

1. Go down the shore every chance you get.

You cannot pass up on the opportunity to go down the shore! The beach is the perfect summer activity where you can get a nice tan and relax.

2. Throw or go to a fiesta.

Last summer my friends and I had a fiesta which was a lot of fun and very successful. The only way to start my summer properly is to throw an even better fiesta!

3. Go to an outdoor concert!

Find a concert at PNC or MetLife and go because you will have an amazing time. I'm planning on seeing Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt in June at MetLife! Hopefully, I will see Thomas Rhett in August!

4. Six Flags.

More Flags More Fun! If you love rides as much as I do, consider buying a season pass to Six Flags because if you go at least twice it's well worth it. Six Flags is a good day trip to take with friends!

5. Go to the zoo.

Pick a zoo and go! Who doesn't like going to see animals?

6. Drive-in movie.

I have never been to a drive-in movie theater, which makes this a must this summer!

7. Bonfires.

Sitting around a bonfire is so relaxing. Good friends, good music, and s'mores. How else would you want to spend a summer night?

8. Take a vacation.

I'm lucky enough to be taking a vacation to California in August, but you don't even have to travel that far to have a good time. I'm also going on vacation down the shore for a week. Just get away from home!

9. Get another tattoo.

Before I go back to school I definitely want another tattoo! The only thing is I cannot decide what or where. I'm obsessed with my first one so I cannot wait to get my second one!

10. Have an amazing summer!

Last summer was amazing and I'm planning on topping it this summer! Living life to the fullest and having no regrets! Make as many memories with your friends as possible before you are back to the grind!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
