If you wear contacts, you already may know some of these struggles listed in this article. I've been wearing them for nearly a decade and while I've become very used to them, the process of putting them on, cleaning them, and taking them off has always been a struggle. But even after almost a decade of this, there are still some things about it that irk me from time to time. Read on to learn about them and see if you can relate!

1. Having long nails.

Got a fresh new manicure? Depending on the length of your nails, the contact lens can officially become a pain to put on. It can slide to under your nail, you could jab yourself in the eye with it, or it could drop right off to the floor. Which brings me to the next issue.

2. When it falls off your finger while putting it on.

If you're like me and also wear glasses, you likely can't see anything when you're putting your contacts in since your glasses aren't on. So you definitely won't be able to see when your contact lens drops to the ground. From switching on the light to shining your phone's flashlight and squinting to see, it's always an adventure when it happens.

3. Taking a nap.

Got your contacts in and wanna take a nap? Go for it! I've personally accidentally fallen asleep with my contacts in, but I wouldn't advise you to do it too often, because it can burn your eyes out, probably. Oh, and your eyes will turn a reddish hue.

4. Running out of solution.

Don't you just love when you have contacts, but realize you run out of solution to put them in, so you have to run to the nearest store to get them as soon as possible? And no, you should never, ever, EVER store them in water. If you're in a situation where you literally can't get more solution, throw your current pair out and wait until the next day.

5. Running out of contacts.

It's always a sad time for me when my contacts run out because they can be very expensive to obtain. Shopping around and comparing prices is always a big help, especially if you don't feel like shelling out hundreds of dollars at the moment.

6. When it pops out of your eye!

It's completely rare when this happens, but when it does, it absolutely SUCKS. I've been told you can put it on your tongue and salivate it before putting it back in, but it's not advised because it won't sanitize and disinfect your lens. Word of advice? Carry a travel bottle, just in case.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
