Woohoo! After a three week hiatus, Riverdale is back and better than ever!

If you haven't heard of this hit TV series yet, the best way to describe it is as if Gossip Girl and Twin Peaks had a child. Drop whatever it is that you are doing, log onto Netflix, and begin binge-watching. You won't believe what you've been missing! Need some convincing?

1. Drama, drama, and did I forget to mention drama?

If you love shows that revolve around drama, whether it be romance, family, or crime, you came to the right place! Riverdale has all of the above.

2. #bestfriendgoals on point!

I love that this show captivates the true meaning of friendship. The show not only focuses heavily on the plot, but the interpersonal relationships between the characters. B & V and Archie & Jug always make an effort to be there for each other and never hesitate to open up to each other, no matter the circumstances.

3. Whodunit?

If there is one word to describe Riverdale, it would be "whodunit". After every episode you watch, I can assure you there will be fingers pointed at new characters, and summoning your inner Sherlock Holmes during each commercial break, trying to crack the identity of the murder.

4. Endlessly 'shipping' couples.

When it comes to romance, Riverdale is pretty unpredictable. One episode, you'll find Jughead and Betty to be the most iconic duo to exist, and by next week, you'll be wearing a Team 'Barchie' (Betty and Archie together, duh!) shirt.

In the latest episodes, there's been quite a few love triangles transpiring that you must keep your eyes on too... *cough Betty-Archie-Veronica cough*

5. The cast members are [physically] unreal.

Have you SEEN KJ Apa shirtless? I think that statement revealed enough if you haven't. Or look at Mädchen Amick. She has not aged one bit since Twin Peaks! In all seriousness, every single cast member is flawless from head to toe.

6. The soundtrack is "music to the ears".

Something that people don't typically notice as they're watching the series is the background music. Pay very close attention! You may just hear some of your favorite tunes that truly tie the whole program together.

The soundtrack features modern-day artists such as Zella Day and Mac DeMarco, and even some oldies [but goodies!] like The Pierces and Dusty Springfield. Every now and then, the cast members will include their own covers of familiar songs as well.

7. They're not afraid to discuss social issues.

Sexual orientation, assault/rape, race, and substance abuse are just a few to name.

8. Cheryl Blossom = Queen B

This character out-beats Regina George, Blair Waldorf, you name it! Cheryl is an exemplar of the alpha female. She will fight until she gets exactly what she wants, and makes sure that no one is superior to her. Head cheerleader, back-up singer for "Josie & The Pussycats," the North Side's sweet and innocent... what more could you possibly want from a character? You will be loathing her all season long!

9. I can't spoil anymore! What are you waiting for?

Get to watching, now!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
