Now that finals are over, we can take a step back and breathe. No more notebooks, highlighters, textbooks or all-nighters until August which leaves plenty of room in our calendars for activities when we're not out there working to make that bank. When you live in a city such as St. Louis, the number of things to do are endless!

1. Go to the St. Louis Zoo and hang out with the animals

It's free!

2. Head on out to Six Flags!

Whether you're going for the rides, the food, or Hurricane Harbor, there's a ride for every thrill level! Use your pass to bring a friend for free or for half off on select days or buy a one-day ticket and get your money's worth! For more information, visit Six Flags St. Louis' website!

3. See a concert at The Pageant or Delmar Hall

There is ALWAYS someone to see at either one of these venues and tickets are usually pretty cheap! Check out The Pageant's website for a full calendar of artists.

4. Go to a baseball game at Busch Stadium

Nothing like a baseball game on a warm summer evening, complete with nachos and the souvenir soda! Cardinal's games are always fun, especially on giveaway nights! For a full list of games this summer, click here.

5. Attend the last Vans Warped Tour

With bands like AS IT IS and Waterparks on the lineup, who wouldn't want to go to Warped? Plus, this summer is the final run, so you're kind of obligated to go.

6. Be a kid again at the City Museum

With plenty of attractions to explore and climb on, who wouldn't feel like a kid again?

7. Finally take that trip up in the arch

It's the one thing every St. Louisian has talked about but has never actually completed, myself included. Cross it off your bucket list this summer and go up in the arch! You know you want to.

8. Relive your childhood at the Magic House

Remember that pizzeria and those fish with the magnets that were so hard to catch? I've been dying to go back to the Magic House.

9. Bring out your inner scientist at the St. Louis Science Center

I haven't been here in years but this listicle is making me want to make that special trip!

10. Admire all the artwork at the art museum

There's over 30,000 pieces of art and free admission! How cool?!

With a city like St. Louis, there's always a fun place to explore! The possibilities are endless.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
