Sometimes we get so caught up in the same pattern and routine that life just gets so unbelievably boring. This happens to everyone and is no one's fault. Life can be so overwhelming sometimes that we don't even notice that we are sleepwalking through the day. With work, school and other priorities it is hard to have time or energy for something different. You need something to spice it up and make it interesting. You need change. Life should be all about embracing change and differences.

So, if you find that you are currently in the slump where you are just very bleh and barely getting through your days, here are some tips to spice up your life and step out of boredom:

1. Cut your hair.

2. If you're feeling extra spontaneous, you could even dye it!

3. Paint your nails a bright color.

4. Get a piercing...

5. Or a tattoo.

6. If you eat the same foods daily, change them up.

7. Take a different route to school or work.

8. Reach out to an old friend.

9. Expand your playlists.

10. Exercise.
