I am not ashamed to admit I am currently rewatching The CW show, "The Vampire Diaries", for the fourth time on Netflix. "The Vampire Diaries" focuses on vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, and their love triangle with a human high school student, Elena Gilbert. The Salvatores are one of the founding families of Mystic Falls, Virginia, and have been vampires since 1864. TVD has eight seasons of dark romance and action that can be found on Netflix. I am Team Stelena always so if you're Team Delena you should probably stop reading, and if you haven't watched TVD yet you need to start! Stefan Salvatore is vampire husband material, and he didn't deserve what Elena and Damon did to him.

Stefan Salvatore is boyfriend goals AF and here are 10 reasons why.

1. He will protect you

Stefan's always got your back and will die before he lets anyone hurt you.

2. He will put you first

Along with protecting you, he always puts your opinion and values into perspective, unlike Damon.

3. He tells it like it is

He's rational and will tell you the truth even if it's just that he needs to go drink some blood.

4. He looks great in black tie attire

Stefan Salvatore in a suit; there is nothing better. Pls, take me to the Mystic Falls Founders Day ball.

5. Hot vamp sex

Could you imagine?

6. He's romantic

He won't be wishy-washy like most boys; if he loves you then he means it.

7. He's confident

He knows he's perfect and he's not afraid to say it.

8. He looks like this without clothes

9. He's still hot when he's mad

And isn't shady, unlike Damon, and yes I am still salty.

10. He loves deeply

Stefan Salvatore, you deserved so much better.
