Pitch black
Knocking on the sky like knick knacks
Peace coursing through my veins
Like Jack pouring over a shot glass

Autumn clapped a thunderous applause
While Gemini stood over me
And I couldn't help but wonder if
I was watching them or
If they were watching me

Aquarius glanced over at them with raised air
And water bared
Then stared back at me with acceptance

Pitch black
Slumber is all I lack
As I gaze into the unknown
And wonder what else God created for
Mankind to slowly discover

He hung the stars and the moon
Low overhead in a misted atmosphere
And I couldn't help but marvel at
The years of practice

He hung the stars,
He hung me right below them
And told me to watch and blieve.
No, believe, then watch.

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
