If You Needed Another Excuse, Here's Proof There's A Starbucks Drink For Every Mood

Starbucks is absolutely essential to most college students. They're basically a match made in heaven. The menu is seemingly endless and each drink is pretty much customizable. You can control how much sweetener is put in and how much skim milk as well.

Whether you are super happy after acing a test or super sad from failing a research paper, there is a Starbucks beverage for every occasion.

1. Celebrate the good times - Passion tea with lemonade

Personally, when I feel it's celebration time and that a Starbucks drink is in order, I immediately know to order my favorite: Passion tea with lemonade.

It's a simple yet tasty classic that never fails to disappoint. It's even good without any added sweetener, which lessens some of the calories to make you even happier.

2. Happy drinks - The Pink Drink or Vanilla iced coffee

I asked some of my college friends for their favorite happy drinks, and their responses were either: The Pink Drink or Vanilla Iced coffee.

I've had both of these drink,s and I can personally confirm that they are great choices to have on a happy day.

3. To the sad part - Caffe Mocha

There are those days where nothing seems to be going well. Maybe you failed an important essay or didn't do as well on your design project as you had hoped.

Although Starbucks can't fix the bad things that happened that day, there are some different drinks that may be beneficial to order when you are feeling down in the dumps.

For instance, one of my friend's favorite drinks to order when she is sad is a Caffe Mocha. She says that the sweetness just helps her forget the negatives and the coffee aspect brings her back to life.

4. Holiday blues - Peppermint mocha

If one of these sad days is during the holiday season, I personally like to order a hot Peppermint Mocha. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend you do!

5. Stressed out - Mint majesty tea

Everyone also has those days when they are stressed beyond belief. The best drink for a day like that is very very simple: A venti hot Mint Majesty Tea.

The smell of mint is extremely calming and will almost want to put you straight to sleep. It's nearly impossible not to be immediately relaxed when drinking this magical potion of a Starbucks tea.

It also doesn't have a ton of caffeine in it so it won't make you hyper or jittery!

6. Super angry - Java chip frappe

The drink for when you are so angry that you feel your hair could catch into flames: Java chip frappe.

They have a lot of calories but taste amazing, so it's totally worth it. They are also super cold, so it'll help cool you down in the figurative and the literal sense of the word.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
