The time of Thanksgiving is finally here. This the one day out of the year where all anyone is expected to do is eat, nap and watch football to their heart's content. There is no judgment for who much we put on our plates and no judgment for how long of a nap we take after dinner. No matter what each individual family does for the holiday, everyone pretty much goes through the same stages throughout the day. And what better way to explain the stages of Thanksgiving than through cats.

1. Waking up Thanksgiving morning and already smelling all the food cooking

2. Contemplating if you should really get out of bed to help with all the cooking

3. Walking downstairs and seeing most of your family is already there

4. Watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV

5. Finally giving in and helping with all the cooking

6. Watching the football game with the family

7. When all the food is finally ready

8. Finally getting to eat everything

9. Taking that after Thanksgiving nap

10. Waking up from the infamous after Thanksgiving nap and going to get dessert

11. Saying goodbye to all your family

12. Knowing that Thanksgiving so now you can start preparing for Christmas

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
